Apple Pay can now be used to pay at Walt Disney World

Planning a trip to Orlando's Disney World with ur Iphone ?

So now u can use ur iphone with apple pay to buy tickets, merchandise & other items.
Now you won't always have to pull out your wallet

The company will roll out support for Apple Pay at its Orlando, Fla., resort starting Wednesday, website WDWMagic reported on Sunday. In October, Disney was listed as one of Apple Pay's initial partners with the expectation that all of its retail locations would also support Apple's mobile-payment system by Christmas.
The launch will let you use Apple Pay, Google Wallet and tap-to-pay credit cards to buy tickets, shop at stores and order from both bars and fast service restaurants

BUT

The system doesn't yet work at places that need a portable payment terminal, so you'll still have to break out the cash or plastic at a table service restaurant.

Apple Pay allows Iphone 6 users to pay for items simply by moving the phone within reach of a supported terminal or other payments system. Though Apple Pay is also available on the new Ipad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, only the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus include the necessary near-field communication (NFC) technology to enable users to pay for physical items at retailers.

IN 2015, This service will also be available at Disney Land In California.

Apple released its first ever automatic security update that has remover a major bug from macs & desktops

Apple released a new security update for macs & desktops that updates automatically even without inter-acting with user. Apple is pushing this update to protect ur commputer from being taken over by hackers. This update doesn't even requires to restart the computer.

Apple has issued this automatic security update for Mac computers, fixing a security flaw that Apple thought is too dangerous to wait for users to patch. "The update is seamless," Apple spokesperson Bill Evans told Reuters . "It doesn’t even
require a restart.

The automated security update protects Apple laptops and desktops from newly discovered security vulnerability CVE-2014-9295, which affects OS X and other Linux and Unix distributions. This new security threat was revealed on Friday by the US Department of Homeland Security and the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute.

Apple isn't the only company that could be vulnrable for this security bug. Researchers have already warned that some vulnerabilities in a computer's Network time protocol (NTP), which sync a computer's clocks, can be used by hackers to take control of a computer remotely. In all previous updates, the users had to confirm the installation themselves but with the urgency requires, Apple has to design its own system which automatically installed the update on all systems.

What if someone doesn't want automatic updates?
These automatic security updates can be disabled by going to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > App Store and unchecking Install system data files and security updates. But it is not advised to disable these updates. Because these updates can sometime protect ur computer from being hacked.

APPLE PLANNING A REDESIGNED 4 INCH NEW IPHONE TO REPLACE 5S

Apple is reportedly in early planning for a new iPhone which will replace the widely successful iPhone 5S. This is the first generation in which we are introduced to larger iPhones by Apple. It certainly makes sense to keep the 4-inch iPhone form factor we are used to alive. The iPhone 5S is reaching the point where it will soon be sold as a $99 or free upgrade and will need a successor.
According to Asian sources cited by G for Gamesthe new iPhone will fill a void in Apples lineup for smaller devices. People like having a choice, Apple proved this with the huge success and sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. The smaller new iPhone will mostly be aimed at women and iPhone users who are more comfortable with a smaller screen.

Even if Apple were to abandon all plans of this new iPhone, the smaller 4-inch iPhone 5C and 5S would remain on shelves, it only makes sense to keep the 4-inch form alive as the iPhone 5S ages.
Although Apple did not update the iPhone 5S this year, iPhone sales have been strong and the new 4.7-inch and the new 5.5-inch iPhone 6 plus. Apple set a new sales record in the first weekend of sales, the new iPhone models were back ordered for weeks and all units just flying off the shelves. While the iPhone 6 is outselling the larger iPhone 6 plus, the gargantuan handset is still holding its own in the fabled market. The iPhone 6 Plus accounts for 41% of all large screened smartphone sales in the past three months.
It would certainly be a smart move on Apples end to keep the iPhone’s easy to use 4-inch display alive.

IPhone 6 price jumps 35% in Russia as ruble plummets

Following a temporary halt to online sales, Apple again ups the price of the iPhone 6 in Russia amid the instability of the ruble.

Consumers in Russia can once again purchase Apple's iPhone 6, but they'll have to pay more for the privilege.

Apple has again raised the price of Iphone 6 in Russia..
Apple increased the price of the iPhone 6 by 35 percent in Russia, Bloomberg reported on Monday. The 16GB iPhone 6 now costs 53,990 rubles ($978), while the 128GB version costs 69,990 rubles ($1,265). The most expensive model, the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus, is now priced at 77,990 ($1,410).

Apple initially responded to the ruble's downturn last month by raising the price of the iPhone 6 by 25 percent. But then it paused all online sales on December 16 "due to extreme fluctuations in the value of the ruble," as it reviewed pricing of its products.

Over the past quarter, the ruble has lost about 30 percent of its value against the US dollar in the wake of lower oil prices and economic sanctions against the country over the situation in the Ukraine, according to Bloomberg. As a result, any revenues generated by Apple in Russia are worth less in dollars, thus forcing it and other US companies to raise prices if they expect to make up the difference.
Apple increasingly relies on more of its revenues from emerging markets, though analysts estimate that only a small percentage of overall sales comes from Russia. But still, the country is a growing market.iPhone sales in Russia doubled last year to 1.57 million units, generating $1 billion, Bloomberg said, citing data from research firm IDC. Total iPhone shipments reached 153.4 million units in 2013. iPhone shipments to Russia through September of this year increased to 1.9 million, according to IDC's numbers.
Apple does not operate any physical stores in Russia and sells the iPhone and other products strictly from its online store. Apple products are available in Russia through third-party retail outlets.
Apple's online store has since reopened for business. But with the two price increases on the iPhone 6, Russian consumers now have to pay 69 percent more in rubles for the phone than they would have less than a month ago, Bloomberg noted.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
